This Standard was built to cover the lack of high level dc Voltage Standards at voltages higher than 10 V to employ as laboratory (local) or travelling Standards for Inter-Laboratory Comparisons (ILCs). A ground-mobile electronic technique was used to enhance the accuracy of the THVS at the higher values.
