Hematite is a promising model material in this respect because its pronounced Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction leads to the coexistence of antiferromagnetism and weak ferromagnetism. Here, we use femtosecond laser pulses to drive terahertz spin currents from hematite into an adjacent Pt layer.
