By describing the deformed bulk theory as a Berkovits-Vafa $\\mathcal{N}=4$ topological string, we obtain a consistent definition of physical states and correlation functions, yielding a tractable setup for testing aspects of holography beyond AdS/CFT. We construct deformed physical vertex operators and compute their tree-level two-point functions exactly.
