Monomial $\\alpha$-attractor T-models can be reconciled with the new observations if the power of the hyperbolic tangent function is $p\\geq 6$, where $p$ is even. The supergravity construction of monomial T-models with $p>2$ relies on the assumption that lower powers remain negligible over the whole field range explored during inflation and reheating.
