Lubow","submitted_at":"2001-06-22T17:51:45Z","abstract_excerpt":"In a recent paper, Elmegreen (2000) has made a cogent case, from an observational point of view, that the lifetimes of molecular clouds are comparable to their dynamical timescales. If so, this has important implications for the mechanisms by which molecular clouds form.
