Volkas","submitted_at":"2000-08-30T22:58:44Z","abstract_excerpt":"We consider the time development of the density matrix for a system coupled to a thermal bath, in models that go beyond the standard two-level systems through addition of an energy excitation degree of freedom and through the possibility of the replacement of the spin algebra by a more complex algebra.
