The onset of Mn-Mn antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic transition follows the electron spin singlet-triplet transition. We deploy a configuration-interaction method to exactly diagonalize the electron-Mn Hamiltonian and map it to an effective Mn-Mn Heisenberg Hamiltonian.
