The Medium Energy Proton and Electron Detector (MEPED) instrument on board the NOAA/Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellites (POES) has two sets of electron telescopes pointing $\\sim$0$^{\\circ}$ and $\\sim$90$^{\\circ}$ to the local vertical.
