We called this method Triangle Method (TM) because it has a corresponding geometric description. We generalize TM for convex and strictly convex composite optimization problems. Then we propose Universal Triangle Method (UTM) for convex and strictly convex composite optimization problems (see Yu. Nesterov, Math.
