TiDES contains three sub-surveys: (i) spectroscopic observations of supernova-like transients; (ii) comprehensive follow-up of transient host galaxies to obtain redshift measurements for cosmological applications; and (iii) repeat spectroscopic observations to enable the reverberation mapping of active galactic nuclei.
