The planned instrument configuration consists of an array of X-ray Hybrid CMOS detectors (HCD), chosen for their soft-X-ray response, flexible and rapid readout rate, and low power, which makes these detectors well suited for detecting bright transients on a CubeSat platform. The wide field imager is realized by a 2D coded mask.
