Here, we present BEAGLE 4.1, a high-performance library for statistical phylogenetics that incorporates new algorithms to evaluate these gradients on phylogenetic trees. We also provide new hardware implementations for both likelihoods and gradients supporting ARM NEON intrinsics and optimized matrix multiplication units -- called tensor cores -- on NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs).
