The QuIPS electron detector is designed to reconstruct the full momentum vector of $\\beta$ particles emitted from radioisotope-doped optically levitated nanospheres in ultra-high vacuum (UHV), enabling a measurement of the neutrino momentum and a search for heavy sterile neutrinos.
