This approach applies the Multistate Bennett Acceptance Ratio (MBAR) over a coupling parameter {\\lambda} to smoothly transition the system from molecular mechanics (MM) ({\\lambda} = 0) to a quantum mechanics (QM) ({\\lambda} = 1) description.
