Commonly used modalities in diagnosis of these diseases are fundus photography, scanning laser ophthalmoscope (SLO) and fluorescein angiography (FA). Typically, retinal vessel segmentation is carried out either manually or interactively, which makes it time consuming and prone to human errors.
