Our theory uses Breuil-Kisin modules and Breuil-Kisin-Fargues modules with Galois actions, and can be regarded as the algebraic avatar of the integral $p$-adic cohomology theories of Bhatt-Morrow-Scholze and Bhatt-Scholze.
