We concentrate on the parametrization in terms of higher order corrections to the leading order mixing matrix. A method to describe subleading contributions and its applications to tri-bimaximal mixing are discussed. We show that mixing matrices similar to tri-bimaximal-Cabibbo mixing can be obtained by straightforward choices of parameters.
