For $m_\\epsilon\\lsim m_e$ we find $10^{-15}\\lsim\\epsilon<1$ is excluded by laboratory experiments, astrophysics and cosmology. For larger masses, the limits are less restrictive and depend on $m_\\epsilon$. For milli-charged neutrinos, the limits are stronger, especially if the different flavors mix as suggested by current experimental evidence.","external_url":"https://arxiv.org/abs/hep-ph/0001179","cited_by_count":null,"metadata_source":"pith","metadata_fetched_at":"2026-07-03T06:47:43.927196+00:00","pith_arxiv_id":"hep-ph/0001179","created_at":"2026-05-13T20:53:16.334784+00:00","updated_at":"2026-07-03T06:47:43.927196+00:00","title_quality_ok":true,"display_title":"Updated Bounds on Milli-Charged Particles","render_title":"Updated Bounds on Milli-Charged Particles"},"hub":{"state":{"work_id":"7600e04f-09d5-4a89-bc0b-52a3ce45d996","tier":"hub","tier_reason":"10+ Pith inbound or 1,000+ external citations","pith_inbound_count":13,"external_cited_by_count":null,"distinct_field_count":3,"first_pith_cited_at":"2009-05-28T19:38:46+00:00","last_pith_cited_at":"2026-06-09T18:00:28+00:00","author_build_status":"not_needed","summary_status":"needed","contexts_status":"needed","graph_status":"needed","ask_index_status":"not_needed","reader_status":"not_needed","recognition_status":"not_needed","updated_at":"2026-07-03T13:54:30.066725+00:00","tier_text":"hub"},"tier":"hub","role_counts":[{"context_role":"background","n":5}],"polarity_counts":[{"context_polarity":"background","n":5}],"runs":{},"summary":{},"graph":{},"authors":[]}}
