We demonstrate that black-hole solutions appear as a generic feature of this theory since a regular horizon and an asymptotically-flat solution may be easily constructed under mild assumptions for f(\\phi). We show that the existing no-hair theorems are easily evaded, and a large number of regular, black-hole solutions with scalar hair are then presented for a plethora of coupling functions f(\\phi).","external_url":"https://arxiv.org/abs/1711.03390","cited_by_count":null,"metadata_source":"pith","metadata_fetched_at":"2026-05-24T01:53:44.416299+00:00","pith_arxiv_id":"1711.03390","created_at":"2026-05-11T00:20:54.998081+00:00","updated_at":"2026-05-24T01:53:44.416299+00:00","title_quality_ok":true,"display_title":"Antoniou, A","render_title":"Antoniou, A"},"hub":{"state":{"work_id":"7b7fa433-7d9d-4fa8-8f79-69da41d51431","tier":"hub","tier_reason":"10+ Pith inbound or 1,000+ external citations","pith_inbound_count":16,"external_cited_by_count":null,"distinct_field_count":3,"first_pith_cited_at":"2024-04-30T12:50:10+00:00","last_pith_cited_at":"2026-05-19T07:13:32+00:00","author_build_status":"not_needed","summary_status":"needed","contexts_status":"needed","graph_status":"needed","ask_index_status":"not_needed","reader_status":"not_needed","recognition_status":"not_needed","updated_at":"2026-05-31T03:31:54.778143+00:00","tier_text":"hub"},"tier":"hub","role_counts":[{"context_role":"background","n":8}],"polarity_counts":[{"context_polarity":"background","n":8}],"runs":{},"summary":{},"graph":{},"authors":[]}}
