  1. HI Observations of Baryon-Dominated Dwarf Galaxy Candidates

    astro-ph.GA 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 6.0

Resolved HI observations of six baryon-dominated dwarf galaxy candidates show four are dark-matter deficient with high baryon efficiency, two in isolated environments without tidal signs.

  2. Empirical estimates of how massive galaxies can be in {\Lambda}CDM

    astro-ph.GA 2026-05 conditional novelty 6.0

Corrected empirical limits show the most massive galaxies never exceed the theoretical baryonic maximum of 0.16 times halo virial mass, keeping observations consistent with LambdaCDM at all redshifts.

  3. Detection of a dark matter subhalo in the strongly lensed system PJ011646

    astro-ph.GA 2026-05 conditional novelty 5.0

A subhalo of M200 = 2.78e10 solar masses and concentration 30 is detected at 5.8 sigma in PJ011646 via ALMA imaging and grid-based NFW search after fitting an elliptical power-law plus multipole macromodel.

  4. Empirical estimates of how massive galaxies can be in {\Lambda}CDM

    astro-ph.GA 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0

Empirical upper limits on galaxy stellar masses from extreme value statistics, after correcting for Eddington bias and halo mass scatter, remain below the theoretical baryonic maximum of 0.16 times halo mass at all re...
