In this paper, we propose a theoretical framework to construct arbitrary synthetic dimensions, or N-boson synthetic lattices, using multiple bosons on one-dimensional lattices. We show that a one-dimensional lattice hosting N indistinguishable bosons can be mapped to a single boson on a N-dimensional lattice with high symmetry. Band structure analyses on this N-dimensional lattice can then be mathematically performed to predict the existence","authors_text":"Bo Peng, Dali Cheng, Da-Wei Wang, Luqi Yuan, Shanhui Fan, Xianfeng Chen","cross_cats":["physics.optics"],"headline":"","license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","primary_cat":"quant-ph","submitted_at":"2021-04-21T07:23:43Z","title":"Arbitrary synthetic dimensions via multi-boson dynamics on a one-dimensional lattice"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2104.10389","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:78152a54caf2b21787169cdd3fc6d1baac74fa49dce49fae33fd40dc6ea88e67","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T02:59:19Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"affab55d0f2e07fabf7fe101a75baa649786533a7418ca82f565e5508d264a96","cross_cats_sorted":["physics.optics"],"license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","primary_cat":"quant-ph","submitted_at":"2021-04-21T07:23:43Z","title_canon_sha256":"fda696c7c71ec7532faa48006e232e587b5b45a163b11220ad104604d31456dd"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2104.10389","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"d103cc70fa3f07902e4963608ea8b7fb8ff195bf597246bfa350ef6af940fd14","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"d103cc70fa3f07902e4963608ea8b7fb8ff195bf597246bfa350ef6af940fd14","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T02:59:19.251793Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T02:59:19.251793Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"93JzeelXc+QrMaW+dORccgTNFyVEyIFbYYzWfpVjE1eJY8tCHfaG6Oju8IzCl3UwMIB1OySWSovUq0ue93v4AQ==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T02:59:19.252206Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2104.10389","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:78152a54caf2b21787169cdd3fc6d1baac74fa49dce49fae33fd40dc6ea88e67","sha256:4f73ba9bff066bae8412d918fdb13c3a1053f6b400aafa302d4bdd436d3d713c"],"state_sha256":"b1153ac6b7fa55ce53a818451f6818839ddc3f78aff923f8b0d8e1df63a25f7e"}
