Within such \"generalized complete intersection\" Calabi-Yau (\"gCICY\") three-folds, we find several sequences of distinct manifolds. These include both novel elliptic and K3-fibrations and involve Hirzebruch surfaces and their higher dimensional analogues. En route, we generalize the standard techniques of cohomology computation to these generalized complete intersection Calabi-Yau varieties.","authors_text":"Per Berglund, Tristan Hubsch","cross_cats":["math.AG"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"hep-th","submitted_at":"2016-06-23T19:44:12Z","title":"On Calabi-Yau generalized complete intersections from Hirzebruch varieties and novel K3-fibrations"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"1606.07420","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:ec27216580633eaae8cce2aac4acacaaa6f3c0f05ae657c47bc15b8dd66240ae","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T00:29:34Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"57f9b74d8c6abc882b14ea6c867acc50c048863a0cb74d5f615407ebb7113b5c","cross_cats_sorted":["math.AG"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"hep-th","submitted_at":"2016-06-23T19:44:12Z","title_canon_sha256":"a2a1755abe815e81817bbad4f168200abe15e74bc1a0df5703f749bb0d469c1a"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"1606.07420","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"dc464513911d422df2724e7727f45b25c7931d7f5b7c0bec4a36aac88c76d8e3","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"dc464513911d422df2724e7727f45b25c7931d7f5b7c0bec4a36aac88c76d8e3","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T00:29:34.210132Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T00:29:34.210132Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"rAtDDxStLt/mP0wNdphNapCxAvNgcR7tcxiQftmnfmOaFmHk8pR57l4mrpco4237GbOkDuGF59qtn/I11QlPAw==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T00:29:34.210572Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"1606.07420","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:ec27216580633eaae8cce2aac4acacaaa6f3c0f05ae657c47bc15b8dd66240ae","sha256:9389ace6ad8ca3b9faa377e19e5a348589a61d58ed735f48beea6b2588eedf5d"],"state_sha256":"393105f07459fbc9e5b022181aa8ef78fee4e7c9d7d8473ad6e9f1c41ccfd370"}
