Gradient elasticity of Helmholtz type and bi-Helmholtz type are used. A general theory of non-singular dislocations is developed for linearly elastic, infinitely extended, homogeneous, and isotropic media. Dislocation loops and straight dislocations are investigated. Using the theory of gradient elasticity, the non-singular fields which are produced by arbitrary dislocation loops are given. `Modified' Mura, Peach-Koehler, and Burgers formulae are presented in th","authors_text":"Markus Lazar","cross_cats":["math-ph","math.MP","physics.class-ph"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.mtrl-sci","submitted_at":"2012-09-10T14:01:59Z","title":"The fundamentals of non-singular dislocations in the theory of gradient elasticity: dislocation loops and straight dislocations"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"1209.1997","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:a6dca5fa555e497122de5dd62e419c3aa96fcf59f24006a9a423f1d7d6337aa9","target":"record","created_at":"2026-05-18T01:25:47Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"7c02bb9890b89bca004c98957b79049afc4454145e5a575b5bc6e9802a298066","cross_cats_sorted":["math-ph","math.MP","physics.class-ph"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.mtrl-sci","submitted_at":"2012-09-10T14:01:59Z","title_canon_sha256":"70bf0bbfb2e557efcaa6c6b988e2b5a743138060adec669119ecd9cb6cb00045"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"1209.1997","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"e162397bb0eaf11c40ca7adbfb5ad28891b7eecd750d487c12b9467de1b86be9","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"e162397bb0eaf11c40ca7adbfb5ad28891b7eecd750d487c12b9467de1b86be9","first_computed_at":"2026-05-18T01:25:47.914234Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-05-18T01:25:47.914234Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"gqeZydR9OX+GrHtIFhSdRFpcbTzv3YFrbp1Ty/YsDv/06bBdFZri/hE26+MaBLqxQe44kbPtFFzFom7eYqotAQ==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-05-18T01:25:47.914670Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"1209.1997","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:a6dca5fa555e497122de5dd62e419c3aa96fcf59f24006a9a423f1d7d6337aa9","sha256:6047f5a58c0a685881172dc8cd2c1caa782659df6f4308a83ba2be042693c81e"],"state_sha256":"a11453a279315b1a139ff1ee807456684929f46770bfcd7731c151c831503f2e"}
