The S and U channel resonance contributions are expressed in terms of the Chew-Goldberger-Low-Nambu (CGLN) amplitudes. The kaon-photoproduction processes, $\\gamma p\\to K^+ \\Lambda$, $\\gamma p\\to K^+ \\Sigma^0$, and $\\gamma p\\to K^0\\Sigma^+$, are calculated.
