The first proof of this statement for all $t$ was a linear algebraic argument of Wilson. Earlier, Schrijver had proven the $t$-intersecting Erd\\H{o}s-Ko-Rado theorem for sufficiently large $n$ by a seemingly different linear algebraic argument motivated by Delsarte theory. In this note, we show that the approaches of Schrijver and Wilson are in fact equivalent.","authors_text":"William Linz","cross_cats":[],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"math.CO","submitted_at":"2025-07-15T13:07:03Z","title":"A remark on the $t$-intersecting Erd\\H{o}s-Ko-Rado theorem"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2507.11285","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:b3357c6c679fe0bfb816179f32a966484093977809f75a6e913c9ec3ae0be1f8","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T11:37:36Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"ec9655afacd239969c611241f79a0486dbc7f8328b72025cf3c9bd1f7cc734c6","cross_cats_sorted":[],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"math.CO","submitted_at":"2025-07-15T13:07:03Z","title_canon_sha256":"18c89beaae376ae12d36d539b84a3471aa0c4350d82404531968b3b19fefe579"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2507.11285","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"f73471151eca7d947f595705268adbc061528046169fd39d0046e50ba0c12230","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"f73471151eca7d947f595705268adbc061528046169fd39d0046e50ba0c12230","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T11:37:36.123373Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T11:37:36.123373Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"rdYQ2eyWYlFNge8duAwoIOqxOyHZIq83HyK9Ll3MJI+O6I1VfBjwLi/t2HO4pk9opgR35OEvJcnrQoUQGJ+jDg==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T11:37:36.123961Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2507.11285","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:b3357c6c679fe0bfb816179f32a966484093977809f75a6e913c9ec3ae0be1f8","sha256:407de8aa143b5fd968ceae0676fe9e5aa328e59622d13d84940cee6340e1e53a"],"state_sha256":"d4696b50eaf3746ca393ebeef3da0e8212011e1fbc95db190137c1d86476c265"}
