We observed that an InP HEMT 0.3-14GHz LNA at 2K, where the in-going transistors were oriented perpendicular to a magnetic field, heavily degraded in gain and average noise temperature already up to 1.5T. Dc measurements for InP HEMTs at 2K revealed a strong reduction in the transistor output current as a function of static magnetic field up to 14T. In contrast, the current reduction was insignificant when ","authors_text":"Arsalan Pourkabirian, David Niepce, Giuseppe Moschetti, Isabel Harrysson Rodrigues, Jan Grahn, Joel Schleeh, Thilo Bauch","cross_cats":["cond-mat.mes-hall"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"physics.app-ph","submitted_at":"2019-04-29T14:56:15Z","title":"On the Angular Dependence of InP High Electron Mobility Transistors for Cryogenic Low Noise Amplifiers in a Magnetic Field"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"1904.12757","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:ce5fb2e024b7cdb95924f88664e7ee61ec6f2d357973bae7e34cf32ad83af425","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-04T23:52:04Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"5ad60689ce43cc59d3b0f20c3632dd33922607cc6d852869fc879c8431a8dfd8","cross_cats_sorted":["cond-mat.mes-hall"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"physics.app-ph","submitted_at":"2019-04-29T14:56:15Z","title_canon_sha256":"9bd5abde481ee9a6ecce532053b82b6a4cd6f71a3356f52c3d31d0a43e7be998"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"1904.12757","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"f7b843e0e70582b34ced2e9589a53c94050102c9642fd076b26ad9e31c394953","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"f7b843e0e70582b34ced2e9589a53c94050102c9642fd076b26ad9e31c394953","first_computed_at":"2026-07-04T23:52:04.868287Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-04T23:52:04.868287Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"MQNTepqtdDVicSBvciOtVcXtsDwcAPvylgGNIUSkRbyyS92/NYl2JnZ8clEGFlsrkI3uexV7usv8wk5dOTL8Cg==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-04T23:52:04.868781Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"1904.12757","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:ce5fb2e024b7cdb95924f88664e7ee61ec6f2d357973bae7e34cf32ad83af425","sha256:707beb5c59f91e808ef7e0f84d5664af727ccfdfbd693f2ece2a5e82ce622fc7"],"state_sha256":"92d232776a31744cd1c19eaf6c8de579ca73fa5f9e3e66679a84074771c80aa1"}
