However, the bandgap of mixed-halide perovskites is unstable under (sun-)light, since the halides segregate into domains of different bandgaps. Using pressure-dependent ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy, we show that high external pressure increases the range of thermodynamically stable halide mixing ratios.
