We propose optimising a Kronecker-separable beamforming filter that takes advantage of the bi-dimensional array geometry to reduce computational costs. The Kronecker factors are obtained using two strategies: alternating optimisation, and sub-array minimum mean square error beamforming with Tikhonov regularization.
