We describe a new method to measure $\\gamma$ using the ratio of flux curvature in the Lyman-$\\alpha$ and $\\beta$ forests. At a given redshift, this curvature ratio incorporates information from the different gas densities traced by Lyman-$\\alpha$ and $\\beta$ absorption.
