Further, we have extracted the nuclear level density and $\\gamma$-ray strength function of $^{186}$W from data on the $^{186}$W($\\alpha,\\alpha^\\prime\\gamma$)$^{186}$W reaction measured at the Oslo Cyclotron Laboratory.
