Study of the temperature dependence of the conductivity, testing of the different scaling relations, and study of the size effect show that the Efros-Shklovskii mechanism of the VRH is valid in the slightest details. It has been also shown that simultaneous transitions of many electrons are not important.\n The reasons of disagreement with previous works are thoroughly analyzed.","authors_text":"A. L. Efros, D.
