This approach entails mid-circuit measurements and resets to simulate the addition or removal of electrons from the system. Our method provides a way to apply non-reversible operations to a quantum computer without the need for additional qubits. Using this method, we simulate the dynamics of an open electronic system consisting of a chain of electrons positioned between two conductive leads on the $ibm\\_torino$ quantum computer.
