We compare solar models with this extra emission to helioseismological and neutrino data, obtaining a bound $\\epsilon <2.2\\times 10^{-14}\\ ({\\rm 95\\%\\, CL})$ for $m_f\\lesssim 25 \\, \\text{eV}$.
