More specifically, we introduce a category $\\Xi$ of trees, which carries a tight relationship to the Moerdijk-Weiss category of rooted trees $\\Omega$. We prove a nerve theorem exhibiting colored cyclic operads as presheaves on $\\Xi$ which satisfy a Segal condition.
