Using a triangle integral with general exponents as a case in point, we compare $D$-module methods to dedicated methods developed for solving differential equations appearing in the context of Feynman integrals, and provide a dictionary of the relevant concepts. In particular, we implement an algorithm due to Saito, Sturmfels, and Takayama to derive canonical series solutions of regular holonomic $D$-ideals, and compare them to asymptotic series derived by the respective Fuchsian systems.","authors_text":"Anna-Laura Sattelberger, Elizabeth Pratt, Johannes Henn, Simone Zoia","cross_cats":["cs.SC","math.AG","math.CA"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"hep-th","submitted_at":"2023-03-20T13:41:20Z","title":"$D$-Module Techniques for Solving Differential Equations in the Context of Feynman Integrals"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2303.11105","kind":"arxiv","version":3},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:f728b30fb33d0cbf44328cc6c6abe822d91f93ee82745e24669eb905aad3c91f","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T11:08:54Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"afe2ea1cc704f5084d2b85119331a5389a9ae3f10daf9233fb4c721a731edfec","cross_cats_sorted":["cs.SC","math.AG","math.CA"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"hep-th","submitted_at":"2023-03-20T13:41:20Z","title_canon_sha256":"ce13baba79adccd58dbec215addfae8b5aad217a3d33d427ac495c764701a06f"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2303.11105","kind":"arxiv","version":3}},"canonical_sha256":"0b4bb3841e35ffe3c67166f81bcbf301694607bce062c36ae3ce58a783a4e539","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"0b4bb3841e35ffe3c67166f81bcbf301694607bce062c36ae3ce58a783a4e539","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T11:08:54.414214Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T11:08:54.414214Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"o11g1am1XkhbyEC1rxg170dA7mx3zskUWJ7CRE6+kfBUl0Tpm5CaJbssJ1cRyUDUyyZ0EMLPuEGSVlYZJaiDCw==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T11:08:54.414719Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2303.11105","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":3}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:f728b30fb33d0cbf44328cc6c6abe822d91f93ee82745e24669eb905aad3c91f","sha256:e3ddeba2a42a65685db9bc0f36757b09466ec9772eedfaf0d50132fb0b31dfc2"],"state_sha256":"456adb1206b98e993b80047ac075e605926f150d0c91a39dcca78969ad069003"}
