We develop a new way to isolate supernova $\\nu_e$, using gadolinium-loaded water Cherenkov detectors. The forward-peaked nature of $\\nu_e + e^- \\rightarrow \\nu_e + e^-$ allows an angular cut that contains the majority of events.
