The concept is demonstrated using micromagnetic simulations of a Permalloy domain-wall racetrack placed above a YIG film. The stray field from pinned domain walls modifies the internal magnetic field in the YIG region under the racetrack. This leads to a local change of the spin-wave wavelength and thereby enables control of the phase accumulated by Damon-Eshbach spin waves propagating through the region.
