We delineate three radial zones: an inner zone where AGN feedback heats halo gas via shocks; an intermediate buoyancy zone where the heated halo gas rises; and an outer zone where the outflow may stall in a termination shock. Heating in the inner zone self-limits because, once the gas is sufficiently hot, shocks become too weak to deposit further entropy.
