The SFIFS junctions serve as injectors in the SFIFSIS devices which have transistor-like properties; for this reason we call them Superconducting-Ferromagnetic Transistors (SFTs). We have found the F (Ni) thickness at which the SFIFS current-voltage characteristic (CVC) becomes linear.
