This opens a new field of visible light communication (VLC) known as smartphone to smartphone based visible light communication (S2SVLC) system. In this paper, we experimentally demonstrate a S2SVLC system based on VLC technology using a smartphone screen and a smartphone camera over a link span of 20 cms.
