The pure stress and the pure strain nonlocal formulations were considered. While the potential used in the strain driven formulation is well known, the complementary potential has not yet been presented in the literature. The same applies to the stress driven formulation. The equivalent formulations are obtained by resorting to the Legendre transformation, and their equivalence is proved. It is also shown that these results can be used to postulate a novel potential","authors_text":"Ante Skoblar, Marko \\v{C}ana{\\dj}ija","cross_cats":["cond-mat.mtrl-sci"],"headline":"","license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/","primary_cat":"physics.class-ph","submitted_at":"2026-06-20T19:40:06Z","title":"On Potentials and Complementary Potentials in One-Dimensional Nonlocal Integral Formulations"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2606.22202","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:180376427fec162caece59f5540e83f0bac728dcd16e681c60b1a61f07a1f404","target":"record","created_at":"2026-06-23T02:13:31Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"96fb2c35193c9c0800c26b6728675de83757664628cebb571f751b99c8559838","cross_cats_sorted":["cond-mat.mtrl-sci"],"license":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/","primary_cat":"physics.class-ph","submitted_at":"2026-06-20T19:40:06Z","title_canon_sha256":"169b7efd59166520e4de968250a9ba41709f7ad2934079b02b272e49d202de03"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2606.22202","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"2071ba5f403a57352dbbd4cb02267d7f6d694ab51272d9b98f7f147f520e73e8","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"2071ba5f403a57352dbbd4cb02267d7f6d694ab51272d9b98f7f147f520e73e8","first_computed_at":"2026-06-23T02:13:31.862517Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-06-23T02:13:31.862517Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"uyaTxFfQglC6Ll/bKo1whDYDHFF4crJn6/blrsNlsT7iZnpZXPgNzgUkQt1pAp7r6IyEGvwzse5yNRzs2TBTBQ==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-06-23T02:13:31.863040Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2606.22202","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:180376427fec162caece59f5540e83f0bac728dcd16e681c60b1a61f07a1f404","sha256:ebe431387a9bb19d1a27ee9d7ccabe36b1011f22edb0ff9ce1b0ec8a7fa82032"],"state_sha256":"7bb5f85512b3b9885ffda55bf735aefbeb6be130236fe8588d584b06c2f20324"}
