R-hadrons are stable hadronized gluinos, predicted by certain supersymmetric models. Making use of fully simulated R-hadrons, signatures of single R-hadrons in the ATLAS subdetector are studied, and triggering issues are addressed. Fast simulation is used to study the discovery potential.
