For this purpose line shape and energy position of XAS and XMCD spectra will be analyzed for a series of Co/Cu alloys as well as a multilayer reference. We observe an increased hybridization between Cu and Co sites as well as increased localization of the Cu d-electrons and an induced magnetic moment in Cu.
