In particular, we give a Lyapunov characterization of iISS unifying and generalizing the existing theory for pure continuous-time and pure discrete-time systems. Moreover, iISS is related to dissipativity and detectability notions. Robustness of iISS to sufficiently small perturbations is also investigated.
