Starting from the Dirac equation, we derive a paraxial Schr\\\"odinger-like equation for the envelope spinor and obtain an effective coupling constant $A_{\\rm rel}=(\\gamma+1)/(2\\gamma\\hbar v)$ that governs the disorder-induced phase fluctuations.
