The algorithm is an extension of the Polynomial Hybrid Monte Carlo (PHMC) algorithm to KS fermions. The fractional power of the KS fermion operator is approximated with a Hermitian Chebyshev polynomial, with which we can construct an algorithm for any number of flavors.
