More specifically, we prove that Vojta's conjecture on these surfaces implies a special case of the $abc$ conjecture, while the $abc$ conjecture implies Vojta's conjecture on these surfaces. Moreover, for similar but different rational surfaces, we prove Vojta's conjecture unconditionally.
