The helicity amplitudes are calculated from resonant and background diagrams and the spin density matrix of the final state is discussed. The spin analyzer of the $\\tau$'s is illustrated with the decays $\\pi \\nu$ and $\\rho \\nu \\to (\\pi \\pi) \\nu$.
