Those are slices of Lagrangian submanifolds which can be isotoped through Lagrangian submanifolds to a cylinder over a Legendrian embedding near a contact hypersurface. Such a notion arises naturally when studying intersections of Lagrangian submanifolds with contact hypersurfaces.
