However, all such cases known so far are based on chalcogenides. Here we report the discovery of superconductivity induced by Re doping in the topological semimetal Mo$_{5}$Si$_{3}$ with a tetragonal structure. Partial substitution of Re for Mo in Mo$_{5-x}$Re$_{x}$Si$_{3}$ results in an anisotropic shrinkage of the unit cell up to the solubility limit of approximately $x$ = 2. Over a wide doping range (0.5 $\\leq$ $x$ $\\leq$ 2), these silicides are found to be weakly coupled super","authors_text":"Bin Liu, Chenqiang Hua, Guanghan Cao, Guorui Xiao, Jifeng Wu, Qinqing Zhu, Siqi Wu, Yanwei Cui, Yunhao Lu, Zhi Ren","cross_cats":["cond-mat.mtrl-sci"],"headline":"","license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.supr-con","submitted_at":"2020-10-30T00:53:46Z","title":"Doping-induced superconductivity in the topological semimetal Mo5Si3"},"references":{"count":0,"internal_anchors":0,"resolved_work":0,"sample":[],"snapshot_sha256":"258153158e38e3291e3d48162225fcdb2d5a3ed65a07baac614ab91432fd4f57"},"source":{"id":"2010.16007","kind":"arxiv","version":1},"verdict":{"created_at":null,"id":null,"model_set":{},"one_line_summary":"","pipeline_version":null,"pith_extraction_headline":"","strongest_claim":"","weakest_assumption":""}},"verdict_id":null}}],"author_attestations":[],"timestamp_anchors":[],"storage_attestations":[],"citation_signatures":[],"replication_records":[],"corrections":[],"mirror_hints":[],"record_created":{"event_id":"sha256:e339471c69c91b1ff6ebae1322d84f9e559625e4dfae6a59ab519f3ff89c57a0","target":"record","created_at":"2026-07-05T01:47:48Z","signer":{"key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","signer_id":"pith.science","signer_type":"pith_registry"},"payload":{"attestation_state":"computed","canonical_record":{"metadata":{"abstract_canon_sha256":"f345b3a6643b01e0d756c5f1353a772a36ad3fffe44ceac90ab3224a0891d651","cross_cats_sorted":["cond-mat.mtrl-sci"],"license":"http://arxiv.org/licenses/nonexclusive-distrib/1.0/","primary_cat":"cond-mat.supr-con","submitted_at":"2020-10-30T00:53:46Z","title_canon_sha256":"d0d5c7c54b9f39a57147162390cb3b5a12edb883beac9997295c0c9033f1413e"},"schema_version":"1.0","source":{"id":"2010.16007","kind":"arxiv","version":1}},"canonical_sha256":"393ca2d30d67b759a45c5b7f7062458d02d2c0e0ad45ff9a3996276a6d01923d","receipt":{"algorithm":"ed25519","builder_version":"pith-number-builder-2026-05-17-v1","canonical_sha256":"393ca2d30d67b759a45c5b7f7062458d02d2c0e0ad45ff9a3996276a6d01923d","first_computed_at":"2026-07-05T01:47:48.260023Z","key_id":"pith-v1-2026-05","kind":"pith_receipt","last_reissued_at":"2026-07-05T01:47:48.260023Z","public_key_fingerprint":"8d4b5ee74e4693bcd1df2446408b0d54","receipt_version":"0.3","signature_b64":"6JM1nZ5nnDBiXtUxbs+142ITivMWKV+vGDxQxCIIgXVanxYlR8fWIdh2Qo5GLRA7yb93EZBGtfx9+5xW64ebAQ==","signature_status":"signed_v1","signed_at":"2026-07-05T01:47:48.260542Z","signed_message":"canonical_sha256_bytes"},"source_id":"2010.16007","source_kind":"arxiv","source_version":1}}},"equivocations":[],"invalid_events":[],"applied_event_ids":["sha256:e339471c69c91b1ff6ebae1322d84f9e559625e4dfae6a59ab519f3ff89c57a0","sha256:bf16624a354dddcb64483ac55b07b9a9ae01706ba5ec67a23bad94ce32bcbb05"],"state_sha256":"7c9a84ac6a648bb7a53c597b95d4b9692e4fa0aecc3cee9da00d98f733610aa9"}
